Howard has been involved in professional sports and sports marketing for over 25 years. As Director of Marketing, Creative Services, and Online Communications for the NHL , Carolina Hurricanes, Howard helped establish the Hurricanes brand in a non-traditional market. Doing so through creative marketing, leading online development as well as mobile firsts in sports.
This background combined with additional online expertise in his career gives him the ability to attack a challenge from all sides of marketing and sales. Having worked on two Stanley Cup Finals including a 2006 championship and an NHL Draft, Howard understands the needs of the regular season to special events and mobilizing community support at all levels.
Howard also helped develop two expansion teams in minor league baseball's CanAm League, and Atlantic League. Howard can evaluate and guide at any level of need or budget.
